Why 'The Data backpacker'?
Apart from me spending the last few years working with productive asset finance companies — mostly for companies and lenders across Africa and the Middle East, I observed that companies often burden themselves with data tools and infrastructure they don't actually need yet. That's really where the "pack light" and "go fast" idea comes from — knowing what actually matters because I've carried the wrong stuff before too.

Before a raise, a DFI review, or a due diligence, I audit the systems behind your numbers — it is not only about your reports agreeing with each other, but whether the way you collect, store, and move that data would actually hold up if someone traced it back to source.
